Contributor series: Joanna Davies

We met up with one of our regular contributors, Joanna, for a catchup over coffee at Kokako.
Jo started knitting when she was six and practiced for a whole week - baby pink yarn on 5mm needles. After finding it too slow and frustrating, she gave it up, not picking up any needles again until she was 21 and having to learn from scratch again. Jo started her blog, now known as The Knitographer, to document her challenge of learning to knit. She's now at the point where she can get through an easy pair of socks in less than a week, and starting to write her own patterns. Around  knitting and work, Jo writes for several craft magazines including Extra Curricular, where she enjoys meeting like-minded crafty people doing all sorts of exciting projects.

(This gorgeous yarn was hand-dyed by Happy Go Knitty, and you can buy some here.)
